Recently, I visited Wow! Momo and tried two of their offerings – the Himalayan Steam Momos priced at ₹109 and the Garlic Momos priced at ₹169. At first glance, you really can’t make out a significant difference between the two varieties in terms of looks, but when it comes to taste, both were satisfying. The Himalayan Steam Momos had a very simple and authentic flavor, soft on the outside with a nicely cooked filling inside. The Garlic Momos, on the other hand, carried a stronger aroma and a slightly richer taste due to the added garlic flavor, though I personally felt the difference wasn’t very dramatic to justify the extra price. That being said, the momos overall were delicious, fresh, and served hot. The chutneys and dips that came along were also really good and complemented the momos well. One thing I particularly liked was the consistency in quality – the momos were soft, well-steamed, and not chewy at all. However, I do feel the pricing is on the higher side, especially considering the portion size and the minimal difference between the regular and premium options. Spending nearly ₹170 on a plate of momos feels slightly steep. Still, if you’re someone who doesn’t mind paying a bit extra for taste and hygiene, Wow! Momo is worth a try. Overall, I would say it’s a must-try experience for momo lovers, but just keep in mind that you’re paying more for the brand and ambiance than for a big taste difference.
